Tuttle Yick Client Wins Dismissal of Abuse of Process and Tortious Interference Suit in the Western District of Washington

Tuttle Yick client Zaiger LLC prevailed in its motion to dismiss the complaint of the video game digital distribution company, Valve Corporation. In a lawsuit removed to the Western District of Washington, Valve alleged that Zaiger LLC, a law firm representing thousands of clients in potential arbitrations cases against Valve involving its Steam platform, abused the litigation process and tortiously interfered with its own clients’ contracts with Valve. District Court Judge John H. Chun, holding that Valve could not establish personal jurisdiction over Zaiger in the state of Washington, granted Zaiger’s pre-answer motion and dismissed the case,.
