In October 2022, Tuttle Yick, led by Eli Raider, defended a residential real estate developer in a dispute with a neighboring property owner in the New York Supreme Court in Manhattan. The developer defeated the neighbor’s request for a temporary restraining order (seeking to halt the project) and obtained a license to enter the adjoining property under Section 881 of the Real Estate Property Actions and Proceedings Law. With this victory, the developer avoided significant costs and delay, and the project could proceed as planned.
